1. Who provides the service?
Garmond (garmond.fi) is run by Pure Digital Marketing Agency Oy, Business ID 3362970-2, Vironkatu 9 A 8, 00170 Helsinki, Finland, [email protected]. By using the site you accept these terms. When you create an account, you accept them separately.
2. What Garmond is and what it is not
Garmond is an information site about Eurojackpot and Viking Lotto results, rules and archives. We are not an operator: we sell no tickets or rows, take no bets and pay no prizes.
We take results from the official Veikkaus API and check them carefully. Even so, the data may contain errors or delays, and we give no warranty for it. The official result and prize payments always come from the draw organiser, in Finland from Veikkaus. Check your row there before you make any decisions.
3. What does an account require?
You must be 18 or over to create an account. Give your real name and email address, and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account. You can ask us to delete your account at any time with the contact form.
We may close an account that is used against these terms, for example to disrupt the service or to collect content automatically. We will tell you the reason by email.
4. How does Premium work?
Premium is a paid add-on. What it includes is described on the Premium page. Prices include VAT:
- monthly €4.40
- yearly €35.00
- lifetime €116.00 (one-off)
Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in My account. Premium stays active until the end of the paid period, and we do not charge the next payment. The lifetime plan is paid once and does not renew. After that, Premium stays on your account for good.
Stripe handles payments, and we do not store card details. If a renewal payment fails, we tell you by email. Premium features are paused until the payment succeeds. Your account and the free content stay available. We email you about price changes at least 30 days before they apply to your plan. The new price applies only from the next period, and you can cancel before then.
Right of withdrawal. As a consumer you can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days by telling us at [email protected] or with the contact form. You do not have to give a reason. If you ticked “I want Premium to start straight away” at checkout, we refund the payment minus a reasonable amount for the time Premium was active before you withdrew. If you did not tick it, we refund the full payment. The right ends before the 14 days only if the service has been fully performed after you asked it to start straight away and accepted that you then lose the right. A Premium period cannot be fully performed within 14 days. We refund you within 14 days of your notice at the latest, using the same payment method.
5. What are we not liable for?
The information on the site is general information, not gambling advice. We are not liable for loss caused by an error, delay or outage in the data, because the official result is always available from the draw organiser. We are not responsible for the content of other sites, even when we link to them.
This limitation does not apply to loss caused on purpose or by gross negligence. It also does not limit your rights under Finnish consumer protection law. If Premium has a defect, you have your rights under the law, such as asking us to fix it or to lower the price.
6. Who owns the content?
Garmond’s texts, design, illustrations and code belong to the operator of the site. You may use the site for your own, non-commercial purposes. Copying content or collecting it automatically, for example with a bot, needs our written permission. Eurojackpot, Viking Lotto and Veikkaus are trademarks of their owners.
7. Can these terms change?
We may change these terms when the service or the law changes. We email registered users about important changes at least 30 days in advance. If you do not accept a change, you can cancel your plan and ask us to delete your account before the change takes effect. The date is shown at the top of the page.
8. Which law applies, and how are disputes resolved?
These terms are governed by Finnish law. If you live in another EU country, you keep the mandatory consumer protection of your country of residence.
Please contact us first at [email protected]. If we cannot agree, you can ask Finnish consumer advice (the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority) for help and take the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board (Kuluttajariitalautakunta, www.kuluttajariita.fi). The Board gives a recommendation on the dispute. You can also take the matter to the district court where you live.
